Bangka Island is located in the north of the tip of Sulawesi. There are 4 villages around the island located along the shore. The interesting dive sites lie all to the east side of Bangka island and along the northeast coast of the mainland. This group of islands and the adjoining coast is known for the strong currents and the pelagic fishes and large schools of fish you can find here and also you can find plenty of colorful and beautiful reef.

Nudibrach, Bangka Island and Lembeh Strair Diving Lembeh Strait is known as the muck diving capital of the world and a good place to see small and shy critters such as the mimic octopus, the flamboyant cuttlefish, harlequin shrimps, wonderpus, skeleton shrimps and many nudibranchs. There are over 30 dive sites around the Lembeh strait, most of them are either sandy areas or small reefs. Here you can find also fishes like: Ambon scorpion fish (Pteroidichthys amboinensis), stonefish, sea robins, stargazers, devil fish and even the weedy scorpion fish (Rhinopias frondosa). Lembeh Strait is one of the most popular places for underwater photography. There are also many of beautiful seahorses with at least 7 different species, pygmy and others, Pegasus, ghost pipefish and the special endemic Banggai cardinal fish. Although most divers come here for the muck diving, Lembeh has much more to offer. Specially around Lembeh island there are some small but very beautiful coral reefs and at the northern tip at Batu Kapal the currents attract large pelagic like mackerels and sharks. There are also four beautifully covered wrecks, two of them large and all within limits for recreational diving. Water temperatures are generally rather cold for the tropics between 24 and 27'C. The sheltered condition of Lembeh Strait makes for year-around diving. Package is 6 nights 5 full days diving on board.
